Sunken yacht in the Solent?

Happened to catch one of VTS's routine broadcasts today - it included a warning about a yacht sunk in the Solent. Position was described by reference to the daft-named racing marks, which I don't pay much attention to, and I don't remember the names given.

Anyone know what happened?

There was a yacht that was dis-masted and tangled up with the red pole just south of No Man's Land Fort at lunchtime today but I believe Ryde Rescue attended to it.

That's correct, we were there at the time. The yacht was taken in tow by Ryde Rescue and in no danger of sinking.

Soton VTS put out a local NtM about a month back about a mast and rigging laying on the Bramble which could be a hazard to small craft.

Could it be that?

I heard the Southampton VTS report yesterday and the only other info I can add was the daft named racing mark was Williams Shipping

The way i read it is that it is just a mast and rigging , no boat atatched .
