Thanks for the comments, glad you like them. I do have higher res and more pictures but I don't know how to put them anywhere for people to see.

Awesome pictures there Gordon - I'd say you've captured the magic very well! That bridge is very distinctive and although it's a couple of years since I saw last, I recognised immediately. That view is something else and even better with the added snow - I'll make sure next time I visit that neck of the woods that it's for longer than a hurried road trip!

Reminds me of when Her Majesty employed me to work in the Kyle of Lochalsh and Applecross back in the late 70's.........a most stunning part of the world!.......thanks for the pics.......awesome!

I was in Skye on a day exactly like this last February, slightly cool but just gorgeous!

Thanks for posting gordmac.

Fantastic pictures ! You can't get those down on the solent, too many people taking wake shots & disturbing the water.
More proof to always take a camera with you. Forecasts are good down here for Saturday, it will be interesting if we get more great shots & proves that keeping your beloved boat in during the winter months has some great advantages

+1000

excellent pics, I guess the "cool" if not freezing temps are responsible for the v.clear atmosphere!
btw, what boat have you got? transom is v.different from what we usually see

cheers

V.
