Sunday racing on the Orwell + other photos

Great photos including two with our Sadler 32 in shot.
Having launched on Friday we went on the mooring yesterday, good to see she hasn't wandered or ... . Reassuring none the less.
Still has her for sale sign on pulpit!

Ianfr and me had to throw in a quick gybe to miss one of them in the harbour. Brigantia got a rope round the ear :D

I have to confess that it was entirely my own silly fault :o

It didn't hurt but it did teach me a valuable lesson! ;)

Cracking sail back though, great fun. Only thing that would have made it better would have been about 10 or 15 degrees on the temperature :)

Grand sail back Roger, wasn't it?
Ian & Jo

It was indeed. As the boat has been in the water for 12months I thought she might be a bit weeded but was pleasantly surprised.

BTW - the Colne Bar. LW was 1.7m over datum so as I draw 1.7m I didn't think it was worth going round it. Minimum under keel was 1.4m. The Colne Bar buoy always seems a long way off course!

Will recharge my handheld for better comms - it hasn't been charged since about September :o
