Summerborn Boats Ltd - Too good to be true?

I'v submitted an Abuse report to "Public Domain Registry", who is the registrar for that name.
I wouldn't hold your breath for anything to happen anytime soon.

Strange, company 14 years old but no cash or assets reported since at least 2010. They must be paying Companies House something to avoid being struck off? Director Gary Joseph been appointed since it was incorporated.

Nothing bad about that. Lots of people ranging from me to big public companies keep dormant companies for many years. There are many good reasons for dormant companies.

Sure but would you want to trade with them, their Experian rating will be £0?

But are you trading with them or a scammer who is using their details.
As JFM says many dormant companies exist for good reasons, being dormant can protect the name should you wish to "revive" it in the future at a low annual cost also to stop another person registering it at a later date and trading on your previous goodwill.
