Summer Trip

Have got two weeks off last day 1st August.

Boat is a Hatteras 54 and I like to cruise at 9 knots. I have had the boat for two years now and we are confident in handling the boat with many local trips, this is to be our first longish trip for our crew of 4. Itinerary to start was

1. Sat 2nd - Eastbourne to Port Solent (meeting a School friend) . Arrive at free flow.
2. Sun 3rd - In Port Solent
3. Mon 4th,5yh 6th - Yarmouth ( Berth paid online)
4. Wherever maybe Poole , Weymouth

Need to return to Eastbourne for the 15th August.

Weather is now my issue, I have looked at most weather sites on Google and they all different.

Another option is to jump on a plane and go abroad for ten days in the sun.

With the current forecast what would you do ?

You've a boat that you can enjoy in almost any weather. I'd go on the boat.

Alison and me will be down from the 8th August until the 26th, let me know if your around. We're currently in Mercury until the end of August.
