I am new to boating in the UK, and have just received in the mail a brochure from MDL's Shamrock Quay outlining very reduced rates for lift out, scrub and relaunch, or other versions, ie blocking off overnight etc.
Is this something that a lot of marinas offer in the summer, it appears from this offer you do not even have to be a berth holder to take this one up. Obviously I had no idea it was coming, have just paid more for similar service elsewhere, work that could have waited if I was aware that summer specials were common, and just around the corner.
Maybe it is a one off, I would like to know for future reference, is it something that most Marinas /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif/ Yards offer over the mid-summer months? Any saving possible with a little planning, will be very welcome over the next couple of years I suspect.

PS Don't know where the little laughing men came from, and can't get rid of them, maybe just other boat owners happy at the summer rates just offered.
