Suitable paint for cabin roof?

Hi please could someone tell me best paint for cabin roof (internal) roughish moulded grp? was thinking maybe gloss? or satin? or maybe something more marine based? cheers

Wouldn't go for too glossy, imperfections show up more. Doesn't need to be too hard wearing so something like Hempel Multicoat would suit I'd have thought...

Don't know if it is still available, but Corkon (with tiny cork particles) used to be very good for unlined GRP interiors. It helps reduce condensation, but is quite pricey. Cheapskates have been known to use masonry paints like Sandtex clones, but don't bump your bald head on it!

But why paint, why not carpet or carpet tiles, or thin foam camping sheets?

Would self adhesive cork tiles (3mm) be an option or would they retain moisture?

in a small old cabin moisture is an issue . Also poor finish is ...so cork paint sounds interesting. Thanks. Was thinking overly water based wouldnt stay on long.. I've used some rubber based stuff on canopy with some success . Perhaps this might work also?

Why not use bathroom paint from B&Q, any condensation will not be a problem, you could build up a nice stipple effect if you are clever

funnily enough been in b&q this morning.. and was looking at dampproof paint, and also some stuff that covers metal/plastic heavier duty. would prefer matt white/cream to go make it brighter and go with new colour scheme....

with regard to stipple.. roof bit low for stipple-on-heed... not a place in the cotswolds...

I have an idea that Corkon (Korkon) is no longer made but how about this stuff?

I think you can still get Anti Condensation paint. It is white and matt coloured. Very inofensive - Looks like emulsion paint.
