No 879 in Ashleys Book of Knots. A Manrope knot. With the wall doubled somewhat after the manner of the Double Wall Knot has a character of its own. Then tuck the ends up through the wall. Afgter this, follow the crown on the outside with each strand and tuck down to the stem.

PS for those interested, its ISBN 0 571 09659 x . First edition 1944, latest reprint 1979. Its a cracker with 3800+ knots, including neck ties.

Not a knot that yotties would know but I'd probably go for a Grinner, or even a double Grinner.
