Suit Sleeping Bags

Where are the photos?

I believe there's a video, but it was long enough ago that it will be on VHS at the back of somebody's cupboard :)

As well as the purple furry drysuit under-layer, I had a square of public-toilet paper towel pinned to my front as the tellytubby "screen", a woolly balaclava, and an "antenna" made from a coathanger wrapped in a rugby sock. And I was performing a tapdance duet with a man in a Wooster-ish blazer and straw boater carrying a walking cane.

It made sense at the time :D

I'd recommend a diving undersuit if you're feeling the cold, they're designed with movement in mind, and keeping divers really warm in cold water.

I wear a Weezle for really cold things, it's fantastic. http://www.weezle.co.uk/

I agree with this, I wear an fourth element Arctic Extreme setup under my oilies - not cheap but it works. I've also worn a 200gsm insulated suit many years ago on a boat with no heating in winter and it knocked the socks off any yachty gear.

The Weezle has a good reputation too although not tried by me.
