As the title says, Has anyone found a good use for this stuff?

I ask as Wilkinsons now have it on special offer at £5 for 2x 5g packets.
I was put off this stuff in the past as it was very expensive but at the above price seems a bit of a bargain.
I'm currently making some random shapes out of it but there must be a good use for it on a boat.
Anybody?

The plipper bodies of my car keys are rubber coated and this coating had rotted/perished on one of them leaving a sticky mess that left black marks on hands and anything else it touched, so I peeled off what was left and sculpted a facsimile out of sugru; 18 months on it's wearing well. I also built up the plipper button at the same time as the moron previous owner had used the 'press button harder rather than replace battery' operational technique and worn most of it away; this is also wearing reasonably well, although the rate of wear means if I keep the car another 5 years I might have to do it again! ;)

Is that much of a bargain, as it's £6.99 for 3 x 5g packs, or £12.99 for 8 x 5g packs on Amazon?
