rated at 22.9 lumens. In reality though just how effective is that? It's less than 2 candlepower.
A couple of 20-40 lumens lamps is just right for ambient Mood lighting on a dinner table. Obviously no good if you want to light the place up like an office.

Understood. What threw me was on the website a fella was reading a book by it's light and it's claim that it replaces an oil lamp. I have a Coleman oil lamp for emergencies and it is very bright indeed @ ~1000 lumens

Be meaning to get one for the cockpit of the T40 since seeing them.

Ha, the power of the forum, it takes me back. The T40 is a little on the dark side away from the Radar arch.

Strange being boatless, just over a year now.
One misses the boat but not MDL :o (Just Kidding)

Nice to see so many familiar names.
Hi to all ! ;)

Good to see you posting again, Roger.
Back to the point - I would expect that any lights you would recommend would be blue :D:D

Hi, have you considered to use solar lighting? I bought a couple of solar lights on https://solar-lighting.net but they are not ambiance lights. I reccomends you to look at amazon and see if there's a "house solar lighting" solution that you can use on your boat.

hi there ...
i've just done my install today on my flybridge.

So I bought around 10m of 24V LED light strip which I plan to tab into the flydbrige cooler as source of power. I taped it around with 3M VHB take and connect it to a 20mm on/off switch.

Here're some pictures
