Suffolk Yacht Harbour, Levington - cleats?

Do I recall correctly that SYH has those daft hoop type cleats? (Just what you don't want when single handing.)

If so, are they on all the pontoons, or are there parts of the marina with sensible ones?

Pain aren't they, I think the new bit of the marina has conventional Walcon type but Jomo would know!

My boat was berthed for the winter on W pontoon which had hoops. Due to dredging, I've now been moved to J pontoon which has cleats, so it's a mix.

It's a mix - even per berth.
We're berthted in the W, and we've got one hoop and 3 'conventional' cleats.

I think the plan is to replace the older pontoons and cleats each winter - we are on E which was done last year, but for the time being its still a mix overall!

Last winter I was on the pontoon just to the West of the lightship, there was a cleat on the end of the finger pontoon but it was still hoops on the 'catwalk'
