Thanks all for responses already.

But sorry, its not working the way I wanted. I may know a lot about seahorses, but the Forum technology has me beaten at present. There should be 'yes/no options for each question. I've asked Seajet if he can take a look!

No I don't want visitor moorings
No whatever the cost of moorings. I go there to anchor.
Yes mooring buoys of any number would detract from the Bay

Would you still anchor there after the publicity about seahorses? Yes
If Visitor moorings were free of charge would you use one? Yes - if it were secure/maintained
As above but charged say £8 -10 a night? Probably - if it were secure/maintained
Would 50 new moorings detract from the beauty of the Bay? No
Would 150 new moorings detract from the Bay? Yes
Would you accept a Conservation Voluntary No Anchor Zone? If it were sensible, ie it allowed a reasonable amount of anchoring in the bay

Additionally, even if say 50 mooring buoys were installed, that should not mean that anchoring in other parts of the bay should be forbidden.

Have you anchored in Studland in the last five years? Yes, regularly
Would you still anchor there after the publicity about seahorses? Yes
If Visitor moorings were free of charge would you use one? Yes - if it were secure/maintained
As above but charged say £8 -10 a night? Usually go for the day, would use a mooring for the night if available.

Would you accept a Conservation Voluntary No Anchor Zone? As it was before? Did it help? Certainly happy to do this again, with independent monitoring to establish conclusively if it helps....

No - as others have said, Studland Bay is a good refuge/place to wait for the right tide so anything is better than nothing
Yes

I've been waiting for seajet to appear & sort out this poll but as that dos'nt seem to be happening any time soon here is my five penny worth.

Have you anchored in studland in the last five years? No
Would you still anchor there after the publicity about seahorses? Yes but it sounds like an increasingly unattractive place to visit
If Visitor moorings were free of charge would you use one? I doubt it unless I had lost all my anchors on the voyage there.
As above but charged say £8 -10 a night? Never
Would 50 new moorings detract from the beauty of the Bay? Certainly
Would 150 new moorings detract from the Bay? It's starting to sound more like a car park so certainly Yes
Would you accept a Conservation Voluntary No Anchor Zone? No
