I haven't made that particular cock-up yet, but I do find it distateful when people post photo's of others in trouble; just post the chart bits as a warning to others.

They're only trying to demonstrate the advantage of lifting keel boats.

When said vessel came back into Pompy after re-floating I noticed she was flying the two flag code signal Uniform Yankee on her starboard hoist. Any ideas as to the meaning as I've drawn a blank on a search?

According to the Code of Signals it should mean, "I am carrying out exercises. Please keep clear of me.", perhaps he meant to hoist RY which means "You should proceed at slow speed when passing me" ?

Maybe he was trying to suggest it was intentional as part of an 'exercise'?
