Stub Antenna connection

Hi all .. The coax on my stub aerial has parted from the connector at the base and needs replaced. Can anyone tell me what type of connector to order for a replacement. I guess its a Male fitting as the nut screws into the base of the aerial and enters the pin on the base.

Needs a photo or at least some dimensions however it might be a PL59 type very common as in the back connection to the VHF about 15mm OD or it might be a TNC type which is like a BNC but TNC is threaded at about 9mm OD. As William suggests you need some sort of photo. But can you see one here? If you can double click on the photo then click "visit" to find who supplies it etc.

Or even what make it is. There are some proprietary antenna connectors and some that are just bare wire with a securing fitting.
