we have an old stuart engine p55 with a wipac magneto all in bits what is the rotation of the engine and the rotation of the magneto

The P55 rotates clockwise as you look at the flywheel and I believe the magneto is driven by a simple chain drive from the crankshaft and so it rotates clockwise, too. I remember my P55 - quiet, easy to start and reliable - although I had a Lucas mag on mine.
