I am pleased I moved to my winter mud berth last week. I didn't reckon I'd get much more decent weather this year.

The chaps were intially a bit disappointed at the cancelation of the Calais thrash from Ramsgate today.
I serviced the engine instead and felt very pleased with myself afterwards.
Apart from being very windy it hailed to leave 25 mm of 'snow' that hadn't melted 2 hours later - I think the 'no go' decision was right!

Some of us agreed to go sailing on a neighbours Oyster 26 in the HPYC RNLI pennant race. I did wonder what the heck I was doing as the hail stung my face as we headed to the start.....
