I need to remove several layers of old paint from the inside of my dayboat, the bit without the gel coat. I have searched this forum but everyone seems more concerned with the removal of anti-fouling or old paint whilst avoiding gel coat damage. Does the same advice apply when stripping from grp non-gel coat as before, i.e. no nitromors, but expensive interstrip?

Methylene Chloride will destroy the poly resin so NO Nitromors or hot air guns.

Stick to less aggressive strippers.
