Bit late on this bit of news, but there's a public sector workers strike (grève) tomorrow, Tuesday 10th September.
Flights and TGV train services appear to be unaffected, but there's bound to be some disruption, including to waterway operations. Can't be any more specific.

VNF seemed to working OK for us today on the Sainte Quentin canal from Chauny to Sainte Quentin as even some automated locks were manned even though we had a zapper!

and again today - last day of 3 but from 6pm to midnight only. Mainly workers involved with contracts direct with goverment departments (so probably not VNF etc.) but definately does affect Air Traffic Control if you are travelling.
