I am about half way through re-fitting a Harley 25 from a very spartan work-boat specification to a more luxurious fishing cruiser. I have almost completed the wheelhouse and now moving on to the cabin and head. (You can read the full blog here if you are interested http://harley25refit.blogspot.co.uk/ ) The wheelhouse has convenient straight lines and gentle curves so headlining was no problem and side lining wasn't needed. The cabin is a different matter, it is currently just raw painted GRP and I want to cover it. The hull sides I could do with lining boards on thin battens, but the upper cabin sides in the deck moulding are too curvy for that. Has anyone glued on a stretchy headlining for this purpose? I have seen some suitable for lining vans, has anyone tried that? My old Bayliner Trophy originally had a lining in stretchy fabric so I know something exists, but I am having trouble sourcing anything similar. Any suggestions please?
