Stretching toilet hose

mikedw's approach worked for me too. We seemed to make progress when twisting and pushing in one rotational direction, but not the other way round. Everything had to be well heated up (boiling water for the hose, fan heater for the sea cock).

If I'd known about the ASAP hose, I'd have just bought that because the amount of hassle we had with the ordinary stuff just wasn't worth the cost saving.

I had the same problem with fuel filler fittings - at the deck 40mm, at the tank 38mm. In the end I bought very short piece of 40mm hose, a reducer and a suitable length of 38mm.
