Strange Structure on the Gunfleet Sands

Remember this thread a little while back. The Genfleet Sands Website are now showing the proposed location of the windfarm on an Admiralty Chart at http://www.gunfleetsands.co.uk/ProjectLocationMap.htm.

It's well clear of the Spitway and it looks like we'll never get lost again! Incidently the mast up there at the moment appears to be called an Anemometry Mast!

Fears about suction effect

In light winds, and if you get too near, perhaps we will be sucked into them. Particularly as I have an oversized spinnaker.

Could be used as a racing tactic. The Ben Hur effect ?
