Just been looking at an American boating forum and one of the posters has suggested a "group hug" for the weekend (and they meant it seriously).

What do you think we should all do to bond collectively?

I'll put that suggestion to the Wareham-ites !!

I think a group hug could be quite invigorating but I'd prefer not to get caught between Forbsie and Byron.......come to think of it wouldnt want to get too close to BurgundyBen, Col, cutey, .......naaah.....forget it.....

Byron & Boatone hugging would be a group hug in itself. Now theres a picture

"The Med has got me" (no not the Medway the other Med)

What's so strange about that? Its an excellent idea, its about time we all were proud of our emotions and unafraid to show affection to each other. I think we should have weekly huggle starting with a Collihuggle, there seems to be quite a few of them, I believe Forbsie is an honorary Colin?

Now you've hurt my feelings, you, you, you Pesavikki.

Hey, what have I done?

One thread and I have you and B1 casting aspershons!

Have I made any comment about your reply on the DIY Anti-fouling thread which was diametrically opposed to the story your delightful SWMBO gave me? - No I haven't!!!

Have I commented on the dish you have installed onboard at work? Is she nice? Does SWMBO know? - No I haven't!!!

Just coz I've been in the pub all afternoon (another resignation) doesn't mean it's a free-for-all on Forbsie day. /forums/images/icons/mad.gif

Do\'nt worry

Forbsie, do'nt worry about these people, just be like me and let it glide beneath your wings. Tell me, is Byron really cuddly? My boat is much better now, I've got a little mast on it at the moment but to be quite honest it only really useful for flags and that sort of thing, whats the best way of cutting it off as it really just gets in the way. I tried to get into Weymouth marina this evening and first time I wealised there was a bridge in the vay vas ven there vas a bloody great crash aloft. (Forgive my teutonic anglais) So I think I'll get rid of it. Are there many harbours with stupid things like that in them.If so I'll talk to CharlieK and he'll get rid of them.

Where's titch, she's really sweet.

Dunno about a group hug, huddling to keep warm 'praps. Anyway the only reason for a group hug is to help to keep standing if the last one was anything to go by!

Re: Do\'nt worry

Course I'm Cuddly. In the old C.B. days my 'handle' was 'CUDDLES' . I used to walk around St Katherine's Y.H. with a Cardboard Box (C.B.) shouting " one nine for a copy, copy copy breaker"

I have it on good authority and personal visitational knowledge that it must be a Piddle and one thing theyll never be able to do is stop the Piddle flowing in Poole Harbour...........
