Strange boat 2

Received delivery of my refurbished cushions today along with those for a 450 Sealine, which were sent back to UK. Anyway told they were hitching a ride on an F44 being delivered to Gib, so lorry to stop en route to pass over the cushions.

The lorry appears and I say to my mate sheet thats no F44 thats a.......shock horror.....Botnia Targa. Lorry stops and mercifully it was not a BT but something very similar to behold, an Offshore 42. Same purposeful hull, very deep keel (dont know if BTs have them that deep), same slanted front screens onto portaloo type wheel house, same safe walk around side decks.
Apparantly it was on its way to Gib to be used as a Dolphin trip type vessel.
As if Gib needed another they've got three already.

Couldnt find them in the MBM boat list, anyone any info. Like I say certainly looked like it could handle the rough stuff.

Poor Man's Targa /forums/images/icons/wink.gif . Shaft driven and with more accommodation - hopefully I'll have a look at one early next week during trip to Poole.

I actually think it has less of the sporty workboat look about it than the Targa. More like an aquatic caravan or site office./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif. Wonder if it's any cheaper?
