Coachroof seems wrong for Tiger. Hatch in foredeck, Tiger's is in Coachroof.

Don't think so; as mentioned most of the Westerlys of that era had a grp forehatch in the top of the forward coachroof.

Thread drift for a sec so please excuse me; that's my late colleague & chum Dennis Warren's old boat, he had Pageant No.1 ' L Gee ' at Langstone Sailing Club, the boat is still going fine elsewhere now.

Of all the boats mentioned i think almost certainly a Cirrus.
Forehatch is in the right position, although probably not the original design
The headsail sheet tracks are right. Not a common position!
The overall shape of the deck moulding, esp the cockpit, is right.
I think it has lost its main hatch so that is what makes the coach roof look wrong.

As far as i can see forecabin roof neither steps in nor down. In that respect it looks like a Cirrus! I'm even more convinced now that i have looked at that .

Doesn't have the circular port in fore part of caochroof and has a houdini typehatch in foredeck, but otherwise very Cirrus like.

I agree, I was letting my eye be spoofed by a fender line; so the best bet to date is a late model Cirrus ?

I think you're right. Cirruses (Cirri?) had a circular porthole on each side of the forecabin, so it looks to me as if someone has fitted a bigger windows to this one. I doubt it's worth restoring.

I don't suppose there's a relevant owners' association whereby with a bit of luck the owner could be contacted, if the boat name was known ?
I don't think the WOA will be much help; a chap at my club has an immaculately restored, better than new Westerly 22 with original kit - when I said ' the Westely OA must be interested ' the reply was ' I thought so too but they told me to get knotted, if other than an OceanWotsit they don't want to know '...

Seems hard to imagine it rolled right over.I wonder if the top side damage was done by coming into contact with one of those moored warships or something?
