So what lights and shapes should this rig display? ColRegs or ICAO....?

Knowing the Solent Sailing Suppositories, all of them....

Thanks to this post and my tendency to get easily distracted by the Interweb I now know the lengths of several of the world's longest aircraft...

No lights needed, it's day light.

You may thank me, 'lw395', for setting that up for you.

Reminds me of the tale told of the old Newlyn fishing boat skipper who, on being promoted to Relief Cox'n of The Boat, had to go up to Lunnun for his Board of Trade Exam. He duly put on his fresh-laundered Sunday shirt, clean pants, boots and his brother's jacket, took the steam train to Plymouth then on to the capital city, and presented himself to the 'Lords Commissioners' Committee' for examination in Seamanship.

He endured the ordeal of the oak-paneled Lights Room, and progressed to the 'viva voce' examination by those very august and intimidating Master Mariners and Elder Brethren. He stumbled through the various searching questions on The ColRegs, Passing and Managing a Tow, and Responsibilities of a Master, and finally the most Senior of the Examination Panel asked him....

"Tell me, my good man, what's the best light in the English Channel?"

The rough old Cornish seaman scratched himself, shuffled from foot to foot, and answered "Well, sor, I reckons that be daylight, sor...."
