Anyone know where one might find a Stowe Navigator 1 spinner? One of the paddles is broken off mine and they do not sell replacements anymore. I imagine there must be a whole load of these sitting in old boats going to waste.

Failing that, does anyone know of any replacement speed logger that would fit in the same housing, I have just refitted it due to a leak and discovered the broken paddle when putting the transducer back in. Thanks.

Check the sensor compatibility chart on the Stowe Marine website. They list a replacement "Type R" paddlewheel sensor for Navigator units, it fits your existing through-hull if it's the 38mm type with the old red sensor body, but if it's the smaller one you'll need to fit a new through-hull. The Stowe sensor is a couple of hundred pounds.

I've got one somewhere, but the last time I looked I couldn't find it. I wouldn't like to guarantee it worked either.

There is a bit of a mini fault finding guide for the paddle wheels on the Stowe website. http://www.stowemarine.com/support.htm

Get in touch with them. As pvb indicated they seem to be able to support old Stowe kit. They've generally had some option available when I've asked them if they could do something.

I've taken the decision to replace my Stowe kit over the next year or so as spares are difficult to find and I want some integration with the chart plotter.

I'll post the stuff on the For Sale pages when that happens.
