I have a Stowe log with a through hull transducer probably around 20 years old. Has worked fine until this season, but now giving bizarrely high readings intermittently. Manual suggests that this may be electrical interference but it persists with everything off and no new electrics on boat. Any ideas, or given that display has been cracked since I bought the boat would it be best to replace. If I do that, are transucers a standard fit or will I have to wait until boat is out and replace hull tube?

Can sometimes happen if it jams with the magnet just by the sensor it then vibrates around and fives a false high reading
