Anyone used this?
Works well sealing the seams on a second hand coat I have bought, but I have an odd feeling it is like many other glues that are a lot cheaper (going by smell and consistency), but I can't put my finger on it. £5.99 for 15g is stupidly expensive. (£4.99 direct from manufacturers I have just noticed) http://www.stormsure.com/stormseal-flexible-repair-adhesive-15g-tube.html I have 1L of Hypalon and catalyst glue that is great, but cures yellow and storm seal is transparent.
Apart from that, they smell very similar. Also anyone know why Polymarine sell a 2 part glue and a tube of one part glue. I have both and used to keep the tube and patches in the avon when I had a boat, but is the 2 part glue better than the tube?
PS. Just mixed some Hypalon glue with paint to apply to hypalon material rather than buy the proper paint (pretty expensive from Polymarine which is where I bought the litre of glue from years ago). Seems to work ok if mix paint it correct ratio.
Do any work outside as it stinks the house out and wife is not happy.
