Storm - Somewhere Nice to Eat in Poole

As a result of some recommendations from here, went to Storm a couple of weeks ago. It was very very good indeed! Great fish served in a relaxed and professional atmosphere...

Storm is great! There is another great fish restaurant just off the chain ferry (west embarkment at Poole harbour entrance)...unfortunately I've forgotten the name but you can't miss it on the right side of the road...

I think you are referring to Shell Bay Resteraunt - also has a bistro 'attached'.

I have heard several excellent reports of the one at Shell Bay and that's over the last few years so consistant.Unfortunately I cannot give you a first hand account.

We visited Shell Bay recently and it was excellent fresh Crab and Lobster both very nice. they could actually make more of it but it feels quite rustic.

I remember eating there a couple of times about 12 years ago and it was excellent then
