Storm around the south coast- dead calm just started on channel 5

No John.

It was an ironic post. Signature removed. Don't be such a cynic. We have never met but you have had a pop twice at me now. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I lost a boat in a hurricane and have been through two so I hope your new one is ok tonight. I know what it's like.

Edit: cant remove sig from first post as time limit, but it wasn't an "add" (sic).

Sorry John !! Its just me , had my fingers burnt in the crash of 1990. !! Im bitter about any agents !!.
Where do you operate from ?

Morning.

Kids up early because of storm. We gave up our proper jobs and left UK to go cruising around the world in 2002, came home in 04 to have a baby and lost the boat in Hurricane Ivan in Grenada, Caribbean. Set off again in 05 after a long battle with the insurance co. got as far as Gibraltar and found another baby was on the way. So came back to UK again and couldn't bear going back to my old job so took the ABYA Yachtbrokers course and operate out of the south coast- mainly Plymouth, Solent and Brighton. Will top up the cruising kitty untill the kids are a bit older, then start again, but this time as a family. I'm also considering having the "snip" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

when both our boys were the age of your kids now, I found the 'snip' would have been totally irrelevant due to lack of action, so you've probably got a couple of years yet before making a decision! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
