Storage in/near Brighton

Anyone got suggestions for medium/long term storage in/near Brighton with easy access from the marina? A small amount of expensive storage near the marina and a larger amount cheaper but further away would be do-able but we only need about 10 square metres so maybe not necessary.

And anyone have any advice regarding berth selection at Brighton (e.g. "avoid pontoon Z unless you like karaoke showtunes at 3am")?
 
A more general question then: anyone got any top tips for haggling down storage places? I'm putting all my stuff into storage and moving onto the boat but seems like the price of a cupboard in one of these places is more than the mooring fees for my boat. There seems to be some price fixing going on so hard to say "hey those other guys are cheaper than you".
 
Much fun to be had on Pontoon 16, well away from the restaurants and noise, and make sure you are on leeward side of the finger pontoon.

What do you want to store and for how long? I have part of a small barn 10 miles east of the marina which is totally secure (I live in the other part) and has good access. Was formally the flat of my youngest son. Perhaps we could meet at the marina if you are interested or ring me on Oh7for one OH for 39997

I'd look into renting a garage in one of the houses in the marina.
