Any tips or recommends for secure economic winter storage ashore for a 32' yacht, Gt. Yarmouth to the Thames. Fresh water yards OK as long as 1.7m depth. Will need crane to step mast at some stage but as long as one is accessible nearby (perhaps at another yard/marina within reasonable motoring distance). Boat to arrive by truck.

Also for min. 2m depth swinging moorings in same area?

Carter and Ward at Rochford very economic, but no moorings. Crane by arrangement, but normally RSA has a self help club day to take down and refit masts. It works very well, and are very nice chaps indeed.
You need a decent tide to get away from there, but 1.7m not a problem

As was discovered with Full Circle, double spreaders are impossible under our system [the balance point is much higher than the lower spreaders] but as per usual the impossible just takes longer.

It was very entertaining, but at least we know where the balance point is now.

Dave the Rigger had the best idea for getting it back up.
