Doing a repair to my dinghy valve surrounds at home. What can I use to stop hypalon adhesive stocking to the outer threads of the valves and bits of wood I am using?

Silicone grease?

Does anyone know if gasket sealant would react with the hypalon or adhesive. I may not have room to fit a rubber gasket where there was one.

If the threads are nylon or a similar hard, smooth plastic the dried adhesive will probably peel off quite easily. As to the rest I vaguely remember using lots of french chalk when repairing Gemini inflatables in the late 1980's.
