STOP and she thought I said MORE

How about a bloody great loudspeaker up in the crosstrees. That way everybody within 100 mtrs will know what should have been done. :D

I know it s tongue in cheek but sometimes you want to keep some things quiet such as

1 Back out quickly - I have just seen who is next to us
2 or in a similar vein - quick I have just seen the port police collecting dues

CCTV camera at spreaders or masthead

Best solution can be to completely eliminate need for communication.

Many chartplotters including Raymarine today allow connecting a CCTV camera. Placing a camera in the mast looking down forward with right amount of zoom-in can be a great docking help. In most cases there will no longer be a need to communicate with bowperson anymore when live video from the bow is available.

If the helmsperson isn't looking at the bow person, where the heck are they looking?

Duplex headsets are certainly the right way to do it if you decide to do any electronic messaging.

Except they are voice activated (which is fine) and wind activated (which is not).

I use one at the top of the mast and have to face down wind and stop breathing in order to hear any transmission!
