3 days ahead of planned cruise : a real thoroughbread !
Not easy to stop, no time for sightseeing !
Perfect weather conditions for October, East 3 to 5 on North Biscay for next 3 days, John got his sea-legs on the way down the Channel.
We share a couple of beers an I offer him a farewell dinner. He seems as happy as me of the meeting but it was no time for "the last round... before the next" :
Except in case of a broken alarm-clock he'll live early to morrow for Biscay crossing.

Great news, I wonder if he left his hangover behind.

True ! Having read a lot of posts on John's good performances with beers, I came in Camaret with my sleeping bag to avoid trouble with Gendarmerie driving back home full charge !
No use, and I must say it amazed me because he fall in love with Leffe Beer but he resist to empty the barrel !

I just phone him to give the last weather forecast. He is leaving ! ... and he's expecting some Pounds from Zephirsailor...
Really a nice chap ! an a lucky one : a Biscay crossing in October with Summer conditions.
Sorry for my English/French and mistakes but happy to report.

It might take you a while to get going, but you've certainly put in some miles after Cherbourg. Well done, mate.

BTW, From your photo, I hope you noticed me trying to get a fender between your toerail & the pontoon during the "Stability test". I was seriously concerned that we would hook the pontoon and catapult a few souls into the 'Oggin ! Might have sobered them up a bit!
