From the latest posts it appears that Stingo is putting down roots in Portugal and is finding reasons to delay his departure for the Canaries.

A typical cruiser.

Shall we offer an incentive ?

I am about to make arrangements for a suitable quantity of cold beer to be available to Stingo in my local bar if he gets to here (Canaries) before a certain date.

How much and when should the offer expire ?

This sounds good. How much beer are you talking about? At the moment, you're competing with Lidls that are selling tins of the some German brew for less than 12p each!

Yo Duncan. I don't recall there being a time limit on your burgees circumnavigation. There certainly isn't one on mine, but I hope to leave for the Canaries next week... or as soon as the wind becomes northerly again.
