still looking - anyone know these 2 ?

Birchwood 25

Take this Sunday and cruise the Thames in the car and visit all the brokers, wont take too long, that way you will be able to view everything they have to offer and something will probably jump out at you...trust me

As Richard says, visit the brokers... plenty of boats to view at Thames & Kennett Marina, Bray Marina and Penton Hook Marina. Those are the places I visited when I bought and sold my boats.. there are others too!

Evening all,
Thanks again for all the comments and advice, it was all very welcome and has made me realise that there is no simple answer to the question - It's just too personal.
I do however have a far better grasp of relative strengths and weaknesses of the different styles of boat and that alone has huge value to me.
Anyway it's purely academic now as a very cheeky offer I put in a few days ago has been accepted and we have been to Bray and chosen a parking space for it.
I have to say that the forum has been a mine of info. and has given me the confidence to try again after the last survey went so wrong.
Anyone up for a naming ceremony in a couple of weeks?
Cheers

Would that be next to the old Seamaster with the whippet on board by any chance??

If so, it was nice to meet you and we look forward to welcoming you and your new aquistion!

The revealing of the actual boat is, I'm afraid, on a "need to know" basis.

You want to know and I need some crew to help me bring her home :D

Bacon butties will be deployed before departure if that helps !!
