stiff and hard Manual bilge pump piping

I have bilge water pipng 1.5 inches diameter which is as stiff and as hard as an elephants d*ck in the mating season . Seems to be black corrugated plastic. In another context I wish I was similarly endowed but with the ability to get round corners
Surely there is some other alternative on the market . Any advice please ??? /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Can you warm it if you need to bend it - bucket of hot water or a hair dryer?

My bilge piping seems to bend easily enough, but does not collapse under suction. It is a reinforced with a harder plastic ring wound round the pipe and seems to be available everyywhere.
