Sticking Teak to Fibreglass

I think the right advice is "contact Sikaflex", as they have several varieties of the stuff, and this is certainly one of the usual applications for whichever is the right variety.

The deck of my boat has been restaured last year at the Astillero Belliure. The teak has been glued on glass-epoxy covered marine ply using
BOSTIK 2639.
Belliure, producing rather expensive sailing and motor yachts, always uses this product to glue the teak on whatever substrate.

Just my 2p.

I fitted a teak cockpit sole to my Jeanneau last winter and I'm sure that the bonding that came with the teak was sikaflex 291. This was provided by Jeanneau and I hav'nt had any problems at all. The only one thing to mention is to clean off the excess straight away with a pre-clean as it is v messy.
