One of the jobs I would like to do on the fletcher 19 gts before next season is to repair some of the stickers on the side where they have rubbed on the pontoon. There is generally a hole about the size of a 10 p piece in the sticker (the gell coat is fine) . Has anyone else done this and if so did you use paint or source some sticker material. I accept it will show but should look better than it is ?

It depends how bad they are, original graphics are still available from Fletcher, easy to put on and maintain the original look.

The other option is touch them up, ive used both model enamels-Tamiya are particularly good but bog standard Humbrol can also work, the other option is car touch up paint.

The problem with this option is getting a good match. I ended up going to Halfords to try and pick a few by eye, I then ordered a selection from ebay (you can get single application colours on there, rather than 3 pack).

The paint method did work but if I was doing it again I would simply order new graphics.
