stern tube?

i need a stern tube assembly for the autumn project.

so...

anyone know of a supplier/manufacturer of GRP tube? south coast uk. (i can get all the other bits)

or.. failing that i'd consider buying second hand parts from an old yacht or simmilar. or complete installation engine gearbox.. PM me with any ideas.

Traditional stern tubes are normally made in Bronze, I had a tube, both ends (cutluss bearing and stuffing box), shaft and prop from C&O engineering near Newton Abbot for £320 plus VAT Tel 01626 367782. Very helpful and worth a ring.
