Hi All, My Broom 345 is fitted with a Sidepower pod stern thruster that, sadly, is totally lacking in the thrust department. The bow thruster works just fine from the dual control. and I was able to swap the controller over temporarily but had exactly the same result. Now, I've searched as thoroughly as I can but can't find any relays, pumps or indeed electrical connections! I'm quite positive it doesn't rely on AA batteries but I've reached the limit of my investigative skills.
Can anyone recommend an engineer who might be willing to attend my boat at Windsor Marina and try to diagnose and hopefully fix the problem.

are you able to measure the volts actually hitting the unit when you press the button? Might be voltage loss in the cable.
