I know it's standard procedure to double up on critical applications, and I do it myself, but I'm curious. Has anyone actually had a stainless Jubilee clip fail? When you replace it double up on those Jubily clips.

It has certainly never happened to me. Whenever I need to remove a hose from a fitting it proves extremely difficult and I often finish up cutting it off. My stern tube is not long enough for double clipping and has been single clipped for 40 years.I know it's standard procedure to double up on critical applications, and I do it myself, but I'm curious. Yes! I've that honour that in the 43 years of ROV'ing I've had A jubilee clip fail, causing a CP probe to fall off and dangle by its connector.I know it's standard procedure to double up on critical applications, and I do it myself, but I'm curious.
