Stern gland stuffing material.

Ok, this is very specific.
Trapper 501 27ft . Probably has the original gland with a screw tightening system on a 7/8inch shaft.
Anybody got a source of the material to re'stuff' it? Pref on-line as we are in France. Local outfits a bit vague.

You will need to check the size, although probably 1/4" or 6mm. surprised you can't get it in France at any marine engine shop - they use exactly the same thing in their stuffing boxes!. Probably has an odd name though.

Get a foot of each size it could be - the stuff is cheap as chips.

Will file that away for future reference - although one boat has a saildrive and the other a Volvo type seal so unlikely to need it!
