Of Chichester. Anyone know this firm, are they Kosher?
http://toerail.com/stanchions_bases/stanchions_bases.htm

I'm after some of the toerail mounted stanchion bases but site is unfinished and no contact info except an AOL email address.
Can't find them anywhere else.
I've had a few emails from them but just thought I'd check around before posting cheque.
Cheers,

Crispin.

Holt Allen used to supply YS Fittings including alloy toerails and stanchion bases. A few years ago they put me on to Stephen Lawrence Yachting as a trade supplier as he had taken over these from Holt. The ones shown on his web site appear to be the YS range so he must have the patterns for these and the stanchion bases have the old YS Fittings part number of 47-20.

I believe he is a one man band but that shouldn't put you off. He specialises in these toerails which were original equipment on quite a few British built yachts (including mine). He's been around for a few years. Obviously, even the most honest small trader can suddenly go bust but so can the big boys! I don't see any great risk here.
