Stencil Fonts

After 16 years the time has come to renew the lettering on our inflatable tender. I cannot find the font I used to make the stencil. I am sure I just used MS Word to print it. It was a stencil font with tangs not to be cut out to support various parts of the letters.

Anyone know of a stencil font within the font set for MS Word 2002?

M$ didn't supply it with 2002.

Some open source options:

(this is actually easier to read than the M$ option but if you are trying to match the existing style will not work)

Plenty others too... but struggle to find a seriffed version that is open and anything simillar which might reflect that it is actually a horrid font!

In the end I used Turbocad (A technical drawing package) and the font Simple Arabic. It meant I could make the text large enough such that it needed two pages to print. I was able to use the package to draw some lines to aid alignment of the pages.

The problem I had was seepage under the stencil. I maybe should have used some adhesive backed stencil paper.

A stencil brush would have avoided most, if not all, of the seepage.
No need for adhesive paper.

Davison, did you use pukka inflatable paint, or a domestic alternative?
