Beware don’t go too close to yachts owned by multimillionaires, very small day boat managed to hit yachtA in the ría de Vigo and was reported to the authorities, hope he has insurance......

A few scratches on the side of Yacht A would give it a bit of character, which might go some small way to distracting from its f'ugliness.
The day boat should charge for improvements made.

Clearly good advice to steer clear of other boats and yachts, super or not, and not to hit off them. If someone damaged my boat I'd expect to be compensated and I'd definitely report them if they left without exchanging details. Am I missing something here?

Far be it from me to cast aspersions on the honesty and integrity of a Russian oligarch, but chances are they didn't get from communism, where all are equal (even if some are more equal than others) without making an enemy or two. I'd put money on any Russian owned superyacht having security on a par with that on a Type 45 off Iran.

A chap I taught a few years ago was in the crew of one of Mr. Abramovich super yachts. He told me that a lot of his security people were ex Gurkhas.

Here is a vid of Azzam leaving Gib. By co incidence I saw her at anchor off the east side last week. By dawns early light, she looked like the Bismark....

I liked the yacht early on in the vid, that looked as though she was going to nip in quick & nab her old berth. Quick thinking by the skipper there :)
Probably looking to see if there is a couple of bob left on the electricity meter ;)
