I've taken the plunge and bought myself a new boat (well an old boat, but you know what I mean).

Got the wrong sort of hull for the river really, but it's only little so hopefully won't cause too much erosion.

Internally it's been reasonably well cared for (4 brooms, 2 dustpans with brush, and a mop on a 25' boat!!), but with pre-scraped hull (watch out you fender-lifters, I have nothing to lose :)) and the last owner did see fit to reshape the pulpit rail by crashing into something; does anyone know where/how I can get this straightened? Or a cheap replacement unit fabricated?

I've had stainless tube bent straight by Chertsey Meads before now and a very good job they did too.

Wotcha got Rob?

I'll give them a try.

New boat is a Princess 25, bit lighter on the trailer than All Gold so hopefully take her to a few places next year, with a Petrol Volvo engine which is not my ideal but has its good side - nice and smooth for one, cold starts without the neighbours sounding a foghorn for another (c: All Gold has gone up to the Great Ouse by Kings Lyn where she can clear her throat in the wash.

This is the new bambina

Have to constantly tickle the helm compared to a nice big diesel on a shaft, but I'll either get used to it or make a couple of modifications that have been recommended to me over on the Mobo forum
