Just one shortcoming of my Eprop Spirit Evo electric out board (now in its 3rd season) is that the battery has no State of Charge gauge. It's fine when attached to the motor but when charging off the motor, I have to guess/calculate how much charge it's got. It does have a Full indication but I'd like to know when it's sufficiently charged.

Does anyone know of a way to get around this?

The Torqeedo has something similar...if you just take off the battery and charge all you get is a flashing light to tell you it’s full or not. But if you connect the tiller arm (which contains the LCD display) while charging then you can read off the percentage on the tiller screen

TEMO 450 has charge state in handle, but mine refuses to charge and is not showing any life at all in the charge display. Anyone had this issue? The port that the charger plug goes into looks intact but the plug does not feel secure, I’ve barely used it but not sure how old it is, any thoughts on whether the battery may be dead?
